R.S Convent Sainik School & Hostel (10+2)

R. S. Convent Sainik School the prestigious institution affiliated to C.B.S.E. was a dream realesation of 'Ranju Singh Educational Society' led by Sri Sudama Singh, a retired army person. The serene and green atmosphere of Ledhupur a nondescript village a few kilometers from the city of Varanasi and adjacent to the international Buddha pilgrimage centre Sarnath, provided the right setting for the strategy of this modern day 'Gurukul'. The official inauguration of the school took place on 04/04/2004. The school's begining was humble but high were it's aspiration. It was set up with the aim of providing an integrated and all-round education.

The need of a boarding house to cater for the academic excellence and character formation of children was felt and in 2007 R. S. Convent Sainik School’s Hostel for Boys came into existence. A Hostel for girls also came into being attached in February 2010. R. S. Convent has developed into full fledged institution as one of the leading Senior Secondary Schools over the years. The infrastructure of the school is great there is lots of beautiful buildings, two grand parks , canteens which were in my opinion the best part of my school life here. There is a variety of food available. There is separate modern hostels for boys and girls . What I like about this school was the way it functioned. The teachers here are good, they know what they're talking about not only academically, but also for activities, programs, competitions etc. I had a good time here.
